I am hoping to find family of my grandmother's. My great-grandfathers name was Arthur John Wingfield,died March 6,1909 at 57 years.Interred at St. Mary's Church, Ide Hill, Near Sevenoaks, Kent. My great-grandmothers name was Jane. My grandmother's name Lucy Wingfield, born Sept 11th 1888, London England. 6 brothers,Will,John,Sherry,Charlie and Roland,don't know the other name. My memories of Ide Hill go back to our Holidays in the Summers of 1939-40, Staying above the Post Office. Walking around the Country side - most beautiful. Plus the 4 mile Hike to Chiddingstone Castle & signing the visitors book in the Church. Undoubtably one of the nicest places on earth.
